Ventral spine of hypopygium very short, prominent part only very slightly longer than broad, with long white subapical setae, most apical setae extend far beyond the apex of the hypopygium (Fig. 108). Male 3.0.-3.2 mm. Similar to the female but differs in some characters. Body except head yel­low, legs especially coxae whitish yellow. Head in contrast to the rest of the body dark brown to black, 1.3 times as high as broad in frontal view, compound eye large, occupying nearly 1/3 of head in frontal view; ocelli large, diameter of ocellus much larger than OOL and POL; lateral ocellus nearly reaches the eye, malar space very short (Figs 96-97). Antenna 15-segmented, slightly longer than body; pedicel 2.0 times as long as broad; Fl the longest flagellomere, slightly longer than F2, 3.5 times as long as pedicel, slightly curved, expanded apically; F3 only slightly shorter than F2; Fl 3 equal Fl 2; the ratio of scape, pedicel and F1-F13 as follows: 0.6:0.3:1.0:0.95:0.9:0.86:0.8:0.8:0.7: 0.7:0.66:0.66:0.66:0.62:0.62 (Fig. 99). Placodeal sensilla on all flagellomeres, white, irregularly ar­ranged and not in distinct rows as seen in female.
