(Hymenoptera: Cynipidae: Cynipini) from the Zagros Moun­tains of Iran are described. Data on the diagnosis, distribution and biology of the new species arc given. A redescription and diagnosis of Andricus moreae (GRAEFFE, 1905), a species for a long time known from the literature as one with uncertain status, is given too. With 129 figures.
