Material examined in this study was collected in the Tarn Dao National Park, 80 km NE of Hanoi, North Vietnam, during the entomological expeditions (2002-2004) carried out within the framework of an international collaborative work between Korea and Vietnam. The colour standard for the description of the adult follows KORNERUP & WANSCHER (1978). SYSTEMATIC PART Stenoloba yenminia tamdaoensis ssp. n. (Figs 1-6) Type material - Holotype, male: "N. Vietnam, Tarn Dao National Park, 80 km NE of Hanoi, 950 m, 21°35' E, 105°39\ 6-9. VII. 2003 (Park K.T. & N. Cuong)", gen. slide no. Vt-10298/Cuong. Paratypes: 4 males, 3 females, same data as the holotype, slide no. Vt-10299/Cuong. Types arc deposited in the Center for Insect Systcmatics, Korea, on indefinitive loan from the National Institute of Plant Protection (NIPP), Vietnam. Description - Adult (Fig.l). Wingspan 23-24 mm. Head greyish white, speckled with brownish scales dorsally. Thoracic crest well-developed, dark brown; thorax and tegular dark brown. Forewing relatively short, broad; blackish basal area well presented at basal 1/3 with oval greenish patch at lower part; greenish crescent patch from 2/5 of costa extending prior to apex, pale grayish orange between blackish basal area and this greenish patch: a long rufous-orange patch running from subbase to postmedian line upper 1/4 along inner margin; Orbicular and reniform spot presented, but sometimes obsolescent; tornai patch light orange, speckled with brownish scales; antemedian line oblique, not clearly presented, dark brown; postmedian line dark brown, edged with creamy white below cell, sinuous, strongly arched outwardly from lower margin of cell, surrounding reniform spot, reaching to middle of costa; subterminal line poorly developed, visible, strongly sinuate; apex round; tennen more or less round, convex; tornai angle round; fringes dark brown, with brownish orange basal line. Venation (Fig. 5): R, arising from beyond half; a small radial cell between R 2 and R 3 +R 4 ; R 3 and R 4 stalked at basal 1/6; R 5 absent; M, separated from R 3 +R 4 at base; M 2 closer to M3; M 3 and CuA, separated at base. Abdomen brownish; dorsal crest absent. Hindwing uniformly dark brown; discal spot hardly visible. Venation (Fig. 6): Sc + R, stalked at base; Rs and M, connate at base; M 2 almost parallel to M 3 ; M 3 and CuA, shortly stalked at base. Underside of both wings greyish brown; large orbicular spot visible on forewing; blackish discal spot and sinuate postmedian line well presented on hindwing. Male genitalia (Figs 2-3). Uncus long, weakly sclerotized, broad at base and narrowed towards apex; apex not pointed. Tegumcn relatively short, about 1/3 as long as valva, with broad extension at base outwardly. Valva elongate, exceeding distal end of uncus, tapering towards apex; apex round, not abrupted, densely haired, without spine-like apical process; median triangular process beyond middle dorsally. Juxta membranous, triangularly emarginatcd at middle on caudal margin. Saccus triangularly produced. Aedeagus (Fig. 3) relatively slender, cylindrical, slightly longer than valva; vesica tubular, bent medially, without spine-like cornuti. Female genitalia (Fig. 4). Papillae anales quite short, wide; apophyses anteriores short, about 1/2 as long as apophyses posteriores. Antrum cylindrical, heavily sclerotized, as long as ductus
