Ocelli situated on the light area between black stripes. Vertex between compound eyes with two, usually confluent brown or blackish markings (Fig. 2). Face below eyes usually distinctly lighter than dorsal part. Pronotum anteriorly with a transverse band, posteriorly with two markings almost confluent medially (Fig. 2). All markings brown or blackish. The pattern of the latter is considered as an impor­tant character in FfORVÁTH's original description. Figs 1-6.
