CONIOPTERYGID TAXA AND SPECIES GROUPS KNOWN FROM EURASIA, NEW GUINEA AND NORTH AFRICA ALEUROPTERYGINAE ALEUROPTERYGINI Aleuropteryx Low, 1885 39 species, distributed in the Palaearctic, Afrotropic, Nearctic and Neotropic regions. Three species groups; 2 of them occurring in the examined territory. Aleuropteryx loewii group 5 West Palaearctic species on the examined territory, and 16 other ones from Central America and southern part of North America. Aleuropteryx iberica Monserrat, 1977 (Fig. 1) Monserrat 1977: 366 (description), Meinander 1990: 6, Aspöck et al. 2001: 167. Distribution: Spain, Morocco. Aleuropteryx juniperi Ohm, 1968 (Figs 2A-C) Ohm 1968: 14 (description), Meinander 1972a: 40, Meinander 1990: 6, Penny et al. 1997: 58, Ábrahám 2001: 257, Aspöck et al. 2001: 167.
