SHINOHARA and L. ZOMBORI Abstract: Collection records are given for two species of Acantholyda, seven species of Cephalcia, and one species of Pamphilius from the Ukrainian Carpathians, two species of Cephalcia from Poland, and two Pamphilius species from Russia. New distribution records included are Cephalcia alashanica Gussakovskij, 1935, C. annulicornis (Hartig, 1838), and C. fulva Battisti et Zanocco, 1994, from Ukraine, C. alashanica and C. fulva from Poland, and Pamphilius armeniacus Shinohara, 1988, from Russia (Checheno-Ingushskaya Respublika). Key words: Symphyta, Pamphiliidae, Ukrainian Carpathians, Poland, Russia INTRODUCTION The pamphiliid sawfly fauna of the Ukrainian Carpathians has been studied among others by Bokotey (1956, 1964), Ermolenko (1963, 1966) and Zombori & Ermolenko (1999) in several papers. We have recently examined a good series of specimens of pamphiliid sawflies from this area, all are deposited in the Hymenoptera Collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. In the following lines collection data of two species of Acantholyda, seven species of Cephalcia, and three species of Pamphilius are given. Of these, three species of Cephalcia, i.e. C. annulicornis (Hartig, 1838), C alashanica Gussakovskij, 1935, and C. fulva Battisti et Zanocco, 1994, are new to the fauna of Ukraine. We are also going to give the collection data of two Cephalcia species, C. alashanica and C. fulva, new to the fauna of Poland and two Pamphilius species from Russia, one of them, P. armeniacus Shinohara, 1988, being newly recorded from Russia (Checheno-Ingushskaya Respublika).
