size of this bud gall is quite similar to that of Andricus polycerus (Giraud, 1859) and A. stefanii (Kieffer, 1897). However, the description of the adult female closely resembles A. corruptrix, A. kollari and A. lignicolus, and differs somewhat in the shape of lateral propodeal carinae and the radial cell of the fore wing. According to Vassileva-Samnalieva (1977) A. bulgaricus most closely resembles A. polycerus, A. stefanii and A. subterranea (Giraud, 1859) and differs only in the number of antennái segments, which equals to 13 (usually with indistinct suture between F10 and Fl 1 ), while in A. polycerus the number of antenna! segments is 14. The type is lost, so A. bulgaricus must be considered as a dubious species. Andricus moreae (Graeffe, 1905), comb. n. Cynips moreae Graeffe, 1905: 372. Female and gall. Type material - Four galls are deposited in the colection of the NHMW, Vienna and labelled as: two white label "collect. Graeffe", "Galle von Cynips moreae Graffe / auf Q. cerris / det Graeffe" and a handwritten label "Galle von Cynips moreae" Material examined - One gall and one asexual female on one pin with the following labels: "collect. G. Mayr", "Galle von Cyn. moreae, auf-, det G. Mayr", a handwritten label "Andricus", one illegible label, and "Andricus moreae (gall) J. P-V det 2003" and Andricus sp. (adult)". Comments - Graeffe (1905) described this species on the basis of adult female and galls collected in Greece. The gall from the original Graeffe series is globular, with several linear protuberances, with a flat top, with a single larval chamber, surrounded by parenchymatic and woody tissues, quite like in the Andricus kollari species-group. The type (asexual female) is lost (Dr S. Schödl pers. comm.). The only asexual female we found in the Mayr collection on one pin with a gall does not belong to the kollari species-group. The size of the female is much smaller, the body is very sparsely pubescent and also other diagnostic morphocharacters do not agree with those typical for this species-group. Moreover, the emergence hole on the gall is rather big, while the adult is small that make us doubt, if this wasp really emerged from the attached gall. Therefore, this species cannot be included into the kollari species-group, until new material will be available for analysis. DISCUSSION After the examination, the Andricus kollari species-group includes 9 valid species, with the herein described A. sternlichti sp. n. However, in our opinion, the
