Antenna 13-segmented; slightly longer than half of body; pedicel 1.3-1.5 times as long as broad; Fl 1.2-1.3 times as long as F2 and 2.9-3.0 times as long as pedicel, F3 longer than F4; F8-F9 subquadrate, slightly longer than broad, Fl 1 2.0 times as long as broad; ratio of scapus, pedicel and Fl-Fl 1 follows - 0.64 : 0.38 : 1.0 : 0.82 : 0.66 : 0.53 : 0.46 : 0.43 : 0.38 : 0.33 : 0.30 : 0.30 : 0.56 (Fig. 52). Mesosoma. Ventro-lateral edge of pronotum dull rugose, with some striae, rest uniformly coriaceous (Fig. 53); anterior rim of pronotum black, with striae; distance between acetabular carina and dorso-anterior rim of pronotum 1.25-1.28 times as long as distance measured in prolong line between propleura and prosternum; propleuron with some longitudinal striae, 1.3 times as high as broad in front view; prosternum black, with strong striae; furcal pit in form of strong impression. Scutum coriaceous, with sparse short white setae; notauli shallow and narrow, especially anteriorly, sometimes incomplete, do not reach pronotum; converging posteriorly; median scutal line if present then very short and shallow, in many specimens very indistinct; parapsidal lines well-marked, reach 2/3 of scutum; anterior parallel lines also well-marked, reach to half of scutum. Mesopleuron coriaceous, with short white setae, acetabular carina in antero-ventral part of mesopleuron distinct, but very narrow (Fig. 53). Scutellum subquadrate, with rugose sculpture, not marginated laterally; scutellar fovea deep, transverse, with black, smooth or alutaceous bottom, not carinated posteriorly, and separated from each other by strong carina. Lateral propodeal carinae thin, uniformly broad, strongly bented outwards, delimiting smooth central area, without or very few wrinkles, with white setae prolong lateral carinae; lateral area of propodeum densely pubescent. Metascutellum uniformly coriaceous, metanotal trough delicately coriaceous, with sparse short white setae; ventral impressed rim of metanotum smooth, glabrous, with complete transverse striae (Fig. 5). Wing hyaline; radial cell 4.1-4.8 times as long as broad; 2r angled, R ( very short, areolet large and usually distinct (Fig. 54). Foretarsomeres 1 to 5 ratio follows - 1.0:0.33:0.22:0.24:0.44; fore tibia+ tarsus and fore leg claw on Figs 55-56. Metasoma only slightly shorter than head+mesosoma; all tergites with dense lateral band of white setae; tergite two occupies 0.6-0.72 of metasoma in dorsal view; tergite 2 posteriorly and subsequent tergites entirely uniformly closely punctate. Ventral spine of hypopygium slender, prominent part 3.5^4.0 times as long as broad, with sparse white setae. Gall. It induces a globular, unilocular gall (7-15 mm of diameter) developing from a bud on different deciduous oaks of the Robur section, like Q. pubescens, has a dark brown colour with protuberances or ridges covering its surface, but its more characteristic feature is the extremely hard tissue of the gall, which makes
