P. groenblomi (Lindqvist, 1952) is larger, 6-7 mm, its pronotum ochraceous, mesopleuron densely granulated, matt, apex of penis valve hyaline. The new species is smaller, 5 mm, its pronotum black, mesopleuron with dense but isolated punctures, shining, the apex of penis valve infuscate (Fig. 14). Pristiphora nigropuncticeps sp. n. (Fig. 13) Black. Tibiae, fore and middle tarsi yellowish ochraceous. Hind tibiae with black apical ring. Wings hyaline. Stigma and costa light brown. Head densely, finely, moderately deeply and uniformly punctured with small shining interspaces between the punctures. Head slightly contracted behind the eyes without hind carina.
