men from Bükk Mountains (Sebesvíz) was mentioned by Újhelyi (1969) as Isogenus nubeculum. Isoperla difformis (Klapálek, 1909) - New to Hungary. A European submontane species (Soldán et al. 1998). Adults were collected from two streams (Köves-patak, Rák-patak) of Sopron Mountains from the late March to early May. Dinocras cephalotes-megacephala complex - New to the Hungarian section of the River Tisza; see Juhász et al. (1998) and Kovács et al. (2001). Its larva and exuvium were found at Tiszabecs. Marthamea vitripennis (Burmeister, 1839) - Two old localities are known from Hungary: Forró (Mocsáry 1899) and Budapest (Pongrácz 1914). More recently this species was found in the River Rába (Kovács & Ambrus 2000, 2001, in press) and the River Lapines (Kovács & Ambrus in press). The larva collected in the river Hernád at Bocs makes probable that the adult specimen captured at Forró emerged from the nearby River Hernád. The habitat from where the adults collected at Szécsény: Várkert emerged was presumably the river Ipoly that is running through the administrative area of the town. Isoptena serricornis (Pictet, 1841) - Hungarian data of the species were clarified by Weinzierl et al. (2001): the species is known from River Duna at Budapest: Nagytétény and from River Tisza at Tiszabercel. A recently revealed locality is the bank of River Dráva at Vejti where a male adult of this species was collected. Xanthoperla apicalis (Newman, 1836) - New to the Hungarian section of the River Tisza; see Juhász et al. (1998) and Kovács et al. (2001). Its larva and male adult were found at Tiszabecs. Brachyptera braueri (Klapálek, 1900) - The species is mentioned in the comprehensive list of Hungarian Plecoptera by Tóth (1990) but its locality data cannot be found in the references listed in his paper. The record is probably based on the specimens listed hereunder from the Kőszeg Mountains. The species is not mentioned in the checklist of Andrikovics & Murányi (2001). Rhabdiopteryx acuminata Klapálek, 1905 - New to Hungary. A NorthCentral European species (Soldán et al. 1998). The species has been recorded in Kerkavidék (Hetes) from the following streams: Kerca, Kerka, Szentgyörgyvölgyi-patak. All of these water bodies are quick running streams with gravel bed and the moss Fontinalis antipyretica. The species coexists with the following rare Ephemeroptera species: Baëtis niger, Leptophlebia marginata, Eurylophella karelica (Kovács & Ambrus 1999, 2002).
