Haris The history of the Symphyta fauna of the Carpathian Basin (Hymenoptera) - Part IV — 44 Nematinae species are listed from Sub-Carpathia. Two new species are described: Pachynematus carpathiensis sp. n. and Pristiphora hoverlaensis sp. n. They are compared to Pachynematus scutellatus (Hartig, 1837) and Pristiphora geniculata (Hartig, 1840). Key words: Sub-Carpathia, Nematinae, Tenthredinidae, new species. In this paper, I continue the investigation of the sawfly fauna of Sub-Carpathia with the Tenthredinidae subgenus Nematinae. 259 captured specimens were identified which belong to 44 species. Pristiphora ambigua (Fallén, 1801) is the dominant species (23.2%); Phyllocolpa leucaspis (Tischbein, 1846) is the subdominant (11.2%). Nematinus willigkiae (Stein, 1926) and Pachynematuas scutellatus (Hartig, 1837) are also characteristic species for this territory. Two new species are described: Pachynematus carpathiensis sp. n. and Pristiphora hoverlaensis sp. n. and compared to Pachynematus scutellatus (Hartig, 1837) and Pristiphora geniculata (Hartig, 1840). Most of the specimens were captured by Dr. L. Zombori in 1997. The year of collections are not indicated in these cases. There are several specimens which were collected earlier by Dr. V. Ermolenko.
