FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK LXII 2001 pp. 37-42 Collection of adult stoneflies (Plecoptera) of the Mátra Museum, Hungary A. Weinzierl, T. Kovács and A. Ambrus Collection of adult stoneflies (Plecoptera) of the Mátra Museum, Hungary — This paper provides data on 23 species from 45 sampling sites taken between 21st May 1995 and 7th June 2000. Isoperla pawlowskii and Siphonoperla taurica are new to Hungary. Key words: Plecoptera adult, Hungary, faunistics, distribution. Of the adult Plecoptera material in the Mátra Museum only data on Diura bicaudata have been published so far (Kovács 2000). This publication presents 70 records belonging to 23 stonefly species. The collections were made at 45 localities in the period from 21st May 1995 to 7th June 2000. The specimens were collected from riparian vegetation or under bank debris (except Perla burmeisteriana, which was reared from a mature larva) and identified by AW. Collectors are named in the list. The material has been preserved in 70% ethanol and deposited in the Mátra Museum at Gyöngyös. Considering the most important papers on Hungarian Plecoptera faunistics - Mocsáry (1899), Pongrácz (1914), Aubert (1966), Steinmann (1968), Újhelyi (1969, 1979), Tóth (1989, 1990), Juhász et al. (1998), Kovács & Ambrus (in press) - the records of the following rare species deserve particular mention: Isogenus nubecula Newman, 1833 — In the first part of the 20th century the species was known from several places: Budapest, Csepel-sziget, Pilismarót, Simontornya, Szolnok, Verőce (Mocsáry 1899, Pongrácz 1914). In the 1960s further findings were published only from Budapest and the Bükk Mountains: Sebesvíz (Újhelyi 1969). Today significant populations of this species live in the River Tisza from Tiszabecs to Tiszamogyorós (Juhász et al. 1998, Kovács et al. in press), in the River Lapines at Szentgotthárd and in the River Rába from Szentgotthárd to Sárvár (Kovács & Ambrus in press). The specimens recorded here come from the mentioned part of the River Rába from Csákánydoroszló and Körmend. Isoperla pawlowskii Wojtas, 1961 — New to Hungary. The species is known from the eastern part of Central Europe and has so far been recorded from Poland, Slovakia,
