LIST OF SPECIES EMPIDIDAE Empis (Coptophlebia) sp. n. — I female: Pécs, Mecsck-hg, Jakab-h, déli lejtő [southern slopes of the hill], 1957. VI. 5-7, leg. Mihályi. - It is apparently the female of an undescribed species (close to E. vitripennis), known to the senior author also from Mohács (Hungary), Slovakia and Rumania (only males). Wéber identified this specimen as E. coracina (cf. Wéber 1963: 300, 1975a: 144, 1976: 22), butit is not£. coracina thus the species will be deleted from the Hungarian species list. Empis (Coptophlebia) vitripennis Meigen, 1822 — 1 female: Uzsa, 1958. IX. 2, leg. Mihályi. - Wéber identified this specimen as E. volucris (cf. Wéber 1976: 23). New to Hungary. Empis (Coptophlebia) volucris Wiedemann in Meigen, 1822 — Börzsöny-hg, Királyrét, 1957. VI. 13, leg. Mihályi. - Wéber identified this specimen as E. pavesii (cf. Wéber 1975a: 144, 1976: 22), which proved to be a misidentification, thus E. pavesii will be deleted from the Hungarian species list and it is the first reliable record of E. volucris from Hungary. Zsirkó. - Wéber identified these specimens as E. setosa (cf. Wéber 1963: 300, 1975a: 167, 1976: 26), which proved to be a misidentification, thus E. setosa will be deleted from the Hungarian species list. Empis (Empis) genualis Strobl, 1893 — 1 female: Csákvár, Flajdúvágás, 1961. VI. 7, leg. Mihályi; 1 female: Pécs, Mecsek-hg. [mountains], Jakab-h. déli lejtő [southern slopes of the hill], 1957. VI. 5-7, leg. Mihályi. - Wéber identified these specimens as E. rufiventris (cf. Wéber 1975a: 165, 1976: 29); all other specimens in these works mentioned as E. rufiventris proved to be correctly identified. Földvári, 2001). - Wéber identified these specimens as E. malleola (cf. Wéber 1963: 300, 1975a: 160, 1976: 27), but they are not E. malleola, thus the species will be deleted from the Hungarian species list. Empis (Empis) melanotricha Loew, 1873 — 1 male: Csákvár, Hajdúvágás, 1951. IV. 25, leg. Mihályi. - Wéber identified this specimen as E. ciliatopennata (cf. Weber 1975a: 162, 1976: 26), which proved to be a misidentification, thus E. ciliatopennata will be deleted from the Hungarian species list.
