Papp L, 1999. június 28, Papp L, Bajza Zs. Diagnostic characters — Body almost entirely black, except yellowish palpi, haltères, parts of fore legs and anterior sides of tibiae and tarsi. Wings without markings, base of Cu-fork well before that of M-fork. Mid and hind tibiae with three rows of posterior setae. Male terminalia with the dorsal part of a gonostylus remarkably long and narrow. Description — Male: body length 8.2 mm. General colouration mostly black. Head: black, covered with pale setae. Antennae black, pedicel distally and the first falgellomere basally yellowish brown, scape and pedicel with black erect setae. Flagellomeres subequal in length. Mouthparts and palpi brownish yellow. Thorax: black. Mesonotum covered with pale setulac and longer pale setae along margins. Scutellum with ten long black apical bristles and some pale shorter bristles among them. Mediotergite bare. Laterotergites with long yellowish setae posteriorly. Anepimeron and preepisternum bare. Anepisternum with yellowish setae along anterior, dorsal and posterior margins. Antepronotum and proepistemum with long pale setae. Metepisternum with several setae along posterior margin. Haltères yellow, basally yellowish brown. Legs: fore coxa mostly brownish yellow, with black anterior and inner sides, basal third and apical margin almost black. Fore femur mostly black, with a pale longitudinal central stripe. Second coxa, third coxa, mid and hind femora entirely black. Tibiae yellowish brown, with dark posterior margins and black distal ends. Fore tibia subequal in length to first tarsomere, with three short black apical spurs and one long, reaching to three-fourths of the first tarsomere. Mid and hind tibiae with two long apical spurs, the lateral ones slightly shorter. All long apical spurs yellowish with black tip. Mid and hind tibiae with three rows of long black posterior setae. Mid tibia with 6 ad, 4-5 d, 6 pd and 5 v. Hind tibia with 6 ad, 4-5 d, 6-7 pd and 3 v. Longest bristles on hind tibia about three times as long as tibial diameter. Ventral bristles considerably weaker and shorter than dorsal ones, especially on mid and hind tibia. Wings: wing length 4.8 mm. Wings hyaline, without dark spots. Wing membrane yellowish, covered with microtrichia arranged in lines. Sc ending in R, both Sc and R covered with black macrotrichia. R-M 1.2 times as long as the stem of M-fork, with macrotrichia towards its distal end. Base of cubital fork before the base of median fork. Veins Mj, M2, CuAj and CuA.2 covered with macrotrichia. Aj strong and long, with macrotrichia. A2 distinct. CuP weak and fold-like, shorter than Aj. Abdomen: almost entirely black, caudal margins of tergites yellowish. Terminalia: black. Length of terminalia 1.0 mm. Length of gonocoxites 0.74 mm, width of gonocoxites 0.49 mm. Total length of a gonostylus 0.91 mm. One or two unusually long setae laterally on both sides of the ventral part of gonocoxites (see Fig. 1). Ventral part of gonostylus covered with black setae, its dorsal part remarkably long and narrow, bare, with an apical seta (Fig. 2). Tergite 9 laterocaudally with 3-5 strong black bristles on each side, the longest of them about three-fourths as long as cerci. Hypoproct reaching to about a half of the length of cerci. Female — Very similar to male. Body length 5.1 mm. Wing length 4.8 mm.
