rax. Tl 1.75 times as long as wide, with parallel sides, smooth medially, with two slightly converging longitudinal carinae, laterally with some hairs. T2 smooth, with two very shal­low and slightly hairy basal foveae. T3-T6 combined 0.25 times as long as T2, with almost invisible, superficially implanted hairs; T3-T5 smooth, with microsculpture along posteri­or margin; T6 with microsculpture almost all over. Male — Unknown. Holotype — Female: Honduras, Olancho, Parque Nac. La Muralla, 15 km N La Unión (1507'N 8645'W), IV. 1995., Malaise trap in high elevation rain forest. R. Cave leg. Preserved at the Institute of Zoology, Lund, Sweden. It is rather similar to L. cavei Buhl (in press) and L. dorsalis Buhl (in press), but both the species differ from L. muralla e.g. in having hairs on disc of fore wing much more sparse. Leptacis propodealis sp. n. (Figs 15-17) Male — Length: 0.7 mm. Colour black; antennae, mandibles, legs and scutellar spine yellowish; flagellum darkened in apical half.Head from above (Fig. 15) 1.8 times as wide as long, very slightly wider than thorax, distinctly reticulate-coriaceous with rather large meshes; occiput sharply angled.
