Protidricerus elwesi (McLachlan, 1891) Material — Pakistan, Islamabad, 26-27.06.1992, leg. G. Csorba and M. Hreblay: 1 female. Hitherto this species was reported from China and India. It is new to the fauna of Pakistan. Protidricerus philippinensis Esben-Petersen, 1927 Material — Taiwan, Prov. Miaoli, 49 km of Tungshih, 2490 m a.s.l., 08.08.1996, leg. T. Csővári and E. Mikus: 1 male. Hitherto this ascalaphid was found only on the Philippines. New to the fauna of Taiwan. It is worth to mention that the examined specimen agrees in every respect with the original description, but larger. Length of the fore wing: 40 mm, of abdomen: 20 mm, of antenna: 26 mm, while in the case of the female holotype these measurements are 28 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm, respectively. Ptyngidricerus venustus Tjeder et Waterston, 1977 Material — Jammu and Kashmir, under administration of Pakistan, Gupis, 2000 m a.s.l, 20.06.1992, leg. G. Csorba and M. Hreblay: 2 males. This insect hitherto was known from Iran and Oman. It is new to the fauna of India and Pakistan. Tmesibasis larseni (Holzel, 1983) Material — Yemen, Wadi Zabid, 07.1969, leg. A. Szalay-Marzsó: 1 male. Tmesibasis larseni hitherto was known from Oman and Saudi Arabia. It is new to the fauna of Yemen.
