- in the case of the new subspecies basal part of the ectoproct slightly arched, its distal end (in lateral view) pointed, and strong spines absent on the proximal part of the dorso-medial angle of ectoproct, while in the nominotypical subspecies the basal part of the ectoproct strongly arched, its distal end (in lateral view) rounded, and strong spines present also on the proximal part of the dorso-medial angle of the ectoproct. This rather variable species is widely distributed from North Africa to Central Asia. Bubopsis tancrei Van der Weele, 1909 Material — Kazachstan, Alnaul Mt., 05.07.1965, leg. N. Skopin: 1 male, 1 female. Bubopsis tancrei is known only from Central Asia. Deleproctophylla variegata (Klug, 1845) Material — Iran, Qulhak (N of Teheran), 1700 m a.s.l., 09-23.06.1961, leg. J. Klapperich: 3 males, 2 females. This ascalaphid is known from Israel to Central Asia. Libelloides macaronius (Scopoli, 1763) Material — Armenia, Kuybishev, 1500 m a.s.l., 21.07.1977, leg. L. Zombori: 1 female; Georgia, Vaslovanszkij Protected Area, 06.09.1990, leg. D. Szalóky: 2 females; Kazachstan, Alma-Ata, 11.07.1958, leg. N. Skopin: 1 female; Tadzhikistan, Chsemysh, 03.07.1963, leg. It is a greatly variable species with large area from Central Europe to Central Asia. Libelloides sibiricus sibiricus (Eversmann, 1850) Material — Korea, Prov. North Pyongan, Mts Myohyang-san, 27.05.1991, leg. L. Ronkay and A. Vojnits: 5 males; Mongolia, Bulgan aimak, Mt. Naman-ul, 23 km NW of Somon Chutang, 1150 m a.s.l., 17.06.1968, leg. Z. Kaszab: 4 males, 6 females; same country and collector, Bulgan aimak, 7 km of Somon Chanzaragalant, 1350 m a.s.l., 16.06.1968: 1 male; same country and collector, Central aimak, 126 km N of Ulan Bator, 07.07.1964: 1 male; Russia, Amur district, Renovo, 09.06.1915, leg. Widely distributed and rather frequent from Central Asia to Korea.
