Histiostoma alii sp. n. (Figs 8-14) Measurments — Length: 137-170 pm, breadth: 92-105 pm. Habitus: Propodosoma anteriorly flat, hysterosoma posteriorly convex, both rounded, thus body obovoid in outline. Dorsal side (Fig. 8): Propodosoma with a band running parallel with its margin, dor­sosejugal region missing, only a narrow band representing dorsosejugal suture. Both pairs of prodorsal setae long and thick, inner pair slightly longer than the outer one. The former originating in front of the latter. Seven pairs of very long and thick setae, and four pairs of very short and thin setae present on the hysterosomal surface. All long setae pointing forward. Surface of hysterosoma smooth. Figs 8-9. Histiostoma alii sp. n. (hypopus) — 8: dorsal side, 9: ventral side Gnathosoma (Fig. 10): Infracapitulum wide medially, palpi invisible, solenidia long and thin, but basaly wide. Ventral side (Fig. 9): Epimeres open, all apodemes short ending free, excepting inter­mediate sternal apodeme, fused with sejugal apodemes. The latter unseparable from ap y Posterior sternal apodeme also short, not reaching to the preceding one. Epimeres 1, 3 and 4 with normal suckers. Ds disks of adhering plate not or scarcely distinguishable. Legs (Figs 11-14): Adhering setae of tarsi of legs I and II shaped like a spoon, larger on leg I, those on legs III and IV long and setiform. Solenidia of leg I much longer than solenidia co,, those of leg II much shorter than solenidia co,. Solenidia co 3 of both legs I and II short and thin.
