Comments — B. costaricaensis differs from all other known species by having a small number of broad fimbriate setae on the dorsum. FOLDICOCCINAE Kozár, subfam. n. Type genus: Foldicoccus Kozár, gen. n. The subfamily differs from other subfamilies by having umbelliform setae on the margin of the dorsum. FOLDICOCCINI Kozár, trib. n. The tribe may be characterised by two rows of the umbelliform setae on the dorsal margin. Foldicoccus Kozár, gen. n. Type species: Foldicoccus monikae sp. n. The genus has sclerotized plates on the dorsum. Some of them on the thoracic tergites altogether with umbelliform setae, some others with broad fimbriate setae. Foldicoccus monikae sp. n. (Fig. 3) Material examined — Holotype: female, Brasilia, Fazenda Aqua Azul, Maranhao Staatm, 02-04. 09. 1967. Leg. J. Balogh, No. 284, BRB 4 (this slide includes one 3rd instar larva, too). From the same collection there are three 1st instar larvae on one slide and on another slide one 2nd and one 3rd instar larvae. Paratypes: Two females (on one slide) from the same collection as the holotype. Four females, on three slides, these two slides contain larvae of 1st and 3rd instar, one more slide contains 1st and 2nd instar larvae, Brasilia, Belém, Para Staat, 18. 09. 1967. Leg. J.
