CHAETODACTYLIDAE Zachvatkin, 1941 Sennertia (Sennertia) aldeodadi sp. n. (Figs 1-6) Measurements — Holotype: 274 long and 202 wide; paratypes (10): 244-300 long and 180-230 wide. Hysterosomal shield 212 long and 146 wide in holotype, while 184-240 long and 128-162 wide in paratypes. Dorsal side: Whole dorsum with striations. Hysterosomal shield with striae, whole punctate; it is the widest in its posterior part. Posteromedian sclerite 62 long in holotype, 48-64 in paratypes. Setae see, c 2 , c v d 2 long, smooth and relatively thick. Cupule ia placed at setae c 3 , cupule im on hysterosomal plate near setae e, and opisthonotal gland between bases of setae d 2 and e 2 . Posterior setae /z 3 on posterior margin of idiosoma, thin and long. Setae c,, d v e x , h l and h 2 are very short. Measurements: see 84 holotype, 68-74 paratypes, c 2 76, 60-70, d 2 70, 60-68, h 3 70, -66-96, c 3 62, 48-58 (Fig. 1). Ventral side: etae cp are short 20, 16-22, setae vi minute, placed on anterior margin of idiosoma. Suctorial plate 96 wide in holotype, 74-02 in paratypes, 76 long in holotype, 70-88 in paratypes; diameter of anterior suckers 22 in holotype, 18-24 in paratypes, diameter of posterior suckers 26 in holotype, 22-28 in paratypes. Paramedian conoides very close to each other, lateral conoides are on the same line as the posterior suckers (Fig. 2). Lateral conoides placed on distinctly punctate lateral areas. Two pigmented areas visible at lateral borders of suctorial plate near lateral conoides. All ventral setae are small. Coxal apodemes I fused, Y-shaped. Coxal setae la, 3b, 4a filiform. Legs: Claws I 22, 20-26; II 22, 20-26; III 20, 16-18. Praetarsi I—III relatively long, without processes. Tarsus I 34, 32-40; II 34, 32^10; III 26, 24-30; IV 14, 12-14. Solenidia: (pi 84, 74-84; II 74, 62-74; III 20, 16-24. ol 14, 14-22; II ?12, 10-18; III ?18, 10-14.0)1 14, 12-16, coI 3 42, 36-48. cGI 28, 26-36, mGI 16, 14-20, vFI 34, 30-40, vFII 42, 42-62, vFlV 14, 13-16; trochanteral seta I 16, 14-20, II 16, 16-22, III 16, 16-20. Tarsus I with 7 setae (3 of them are long). Tarsus II with 6 setae (two long), tarsus III with 3 setae (two long). Tarsus IV with very long apical seta and only one short seta (Figs 3-6). Material examined — Holotype: Mauritius, Mohebourg, 22 February 2000 from undetermined Anthophoridae; 35 paratypes, the same data as for holotype; leg. R. Haitiinger; MNHWU. Remarks — S. (S.) aldeodadi sp. n. belongs to the group cerambycina and differs from most species of the subgenus Sennertia in its very short e 2 and wider suctorial plate consisting of distinctly punctate lateral area. Only two species with short e 2 are known: S. (S.) benoiti Fain from Ivory Coast and Zaire and S. (S.) robusta Delfinado et Baker from India (Delfinado and Baker 1976, Fain 1974). It differs from S. (S.) benoiti in its distinctly longer posterior seta on genua I than posterior seta on genua II, longer body (244-300 to 225) and distinctly developed sternum. It differs from S. (S.) robusta in its shorter idiosoma (244-300 to 355) and the Y-shaped sternum. Derivatio nominis — The name of the species has been derived from the name Aldeodad.
