Figs. 8-11. Magoebazetes cornutus sp. n. 8: body in dorsal view, 9: body in ventral view, 10: pteromorpha, 11 : body in lateral view Microzetes africanus Balogh, 1958 The status of the species has been ambiguous ever since its description, for many authors, including myself, considered it to be synonymous Microzetes auxiliaris Grandjean, 1936. This is the first time when I found a specimen on which the guttiform incision, as described by Balogh (1958, 1962a), is clearly seen just beside the outer apex of the lamellae.
