Triaspis devinensis Snoflák is distinguished from all other European species of Triaspis by the combination of the following features: clypeus extremely wide, temple relatively long, sculpture of the cararapce; see also key-couplet 15 (16) - 16 (15) within the identification key to the Triaspis species of the European part of the former USSR (Tobias 1986: 167-172). Schizoprymnus excisus (Snoflák) comb. n. (Figs 104-112) Triaspis (Triaspis) excisus Snoflák, 1953: Acta Entom. Mus. Natn. Pragae 28 (1952): 294 (in key) and 336 (description) 2d, type locality: "Boretice" (Czech Republic), female holotype (and male allotype) in Moravian Museum, Brno; examined. Shenefelt 1970: 288 (literature up to 1953). Tobias 1976: 100 (in key) and 1986: 167 (in key). Schizoprymnus arcuatus Tobias, 1976: Braconidae of Caucasus p. 106 (in key) and 226 (description) (in Russian) 2d, type locality: "Armenia, Kafanskiy rayon, Tsav", female holotype (and four female + four male paratypes) in Zoological Institute, Sankt Petersburg; examined, syn. n. - Tobias 1986: 176 (in key as valid species). The present state of the two type specimens of Triaspis excisus — Female holotype: it is in a very poor condition, only propodeum, carapace and hind pair of wings present; left hind wing submerged in glue, right hind wing glued to right lateral rim of carapace. - Male allotype: Missing corporal parts: right middle tarsomeres 4-5, right hind leg, left leg from trochanters (i.e. coxa present), left fore and hind wings. Antennae damaged: right antenna with 16 and left antenna with 14 antennomeres. Carapace glued separately onto the pin, lateral declivous part of carapace covered with glued. Material examined (72 + 5 d) — Types (62 + 5d) of Triaspis excisus Snoflák and Schizoprymnus arcuatus Tobias (I.e.); 12 (as S. parvus in Papp 1971: 65): Mongolia, Cojbalsan aimak, 20 km SW von Somon Bajan-uul, 820 m, 18 August 1965, leg. Z. Kaszab (Ioc. No. 444). Additional features to the original descriptions presented by Snoflák and Tobias (I.e.) — Female body 2-3.3 mm, usually 2.5-3 mm, long. Antenna about as long as head, mesosoma and first tergite combined and with 19-20 antennomeres.
