8 (9) Marginal cell or 4-SR of fore wing reaching tip of wing (Fig. 16). Pair of spiracles of first tergite tuberculiform, otherwise tergite parallel-sided, i.e. tergite from base to spiracles hardly broadening (Fig. 17). Suture between tergites 23 bisinuate and (medially) subcrenulate (Fig. 17). Head in dorsal view subcubic (Fig. 18), about 1.6 times as broad as long. First tergite 1.5-1.6 times as long as wide behind, tergites 2 and 3 of equal length (Fig. 17). Ovipositor sheath as long as head, mesosoma and tergite 1 or tergites 1-2 combined. Black, second (and third) tergite(s) with more or less reddish yellow or yellow pattern laterally. 9: 4.5-5 mm, 6: 3-3.5(-4) mm B. (G.) pineti Thomson 9 (8) Marginal cell or 4-SR of fore wing approaching tip of wing (Figs 25, 29). Pair of spiracles of first tergite at most somewhat protruding, i.e. tergite from base to spiracles distinctly broadening as usual (Figs 24, 32). 10 (11) Head in dorsal view transverse, 1.7(— 1.62) times as broad as long, temple rounded and about as long as eye (Fig. 19). First tergite 1.3-1.4 times as long as wide behind (Fig. 24). Radial vein (r) issuing from middle of pterostigma (Fig. 25). Antenna with 21-24 antennomeres. Ovipositor sheath twice as long as body. 9: 4 mm B. (G.) dolichurus Marshall 11 (10) Head in dorsal view subcubic, 1.5 times as broad as long, temple somewhat less rounded and distinctly longer than eye (Fig. 26). First tergite somewhat longer than broad behind (Fig. 32). Radial vein (r) issuing proximally from middle of pterostigma (Fig. 29). Antenna with 25-26 antennomeres. Ovipositor sheath as long as body. 9: 3-3.5 mm B. (G.) fumatus Szépligeti 12(1) Oral cavity large, at least twice as wide as shortest distance between margin of cavity and lower part of compound eye (cf. Fig. 36, see arrows). Second submarginal cell short, 3-SR at most somewhat longer than 2-SR, 4-SR ending clearly before tip of wing (Fig. 15) (subgenus Lucobracon). First tergite quadrate in form, i.e. as long as broad behind or slightly longer. Antenna about as long as head, mesosoma and half of metasoma combined, with 29-39 antennomeres. Body black with more or less rusty to reddish yellow pattern. Legs black with reddish yellow pattern on tibiae 1-3 and femora 1-2, or reddish yellow with black(ish) pattern. 96: (2-) 3.5-4.5 mm B.
