Structure: Average length 4 mm. Antenna filiform, 1.6 x head width, scape and pedicel equal, segments 3 and 4 as 3:2. Clypeus (Fig. 1) triangularly emarginate, labrum (Fig. 1) broader than long as 2:1 with rounded anterior margin, malar space linear, LID:IDMO:EL =1:1.5:1.5, POL:OCL:OOL = 1:0.8: 1.2. Supraantennal pits deep, rounded, area between them smooth. Frontal area convex, median fovea in form of shallow transverse depression above supraclypeal area; postocellar furrow shallow, inter- and circumocellar furrows distinct; lateral furrow sunken, excurved (bulging medially), ending abruptly just at hypothetical hind margin of head; postocellar area convex, broader than long as 3:1, head narrowing behind eyes. Mesoscutellum subconvex, appendage ecarinate, ICD:ITD = 1:6, epicnemium separated from mesopleuron by fine furrow. Tarsal claw (Fig. 5) with subapical tooth shorter than apical one, basal lobe distinct, metabasirtarsus longer than following 3 joints combined as 4:3, IATS:MB:OATS = 1:2:4:1. Genitalia: Penis valve (Fig. 21) gonoforceps (Fig. 18). Sculpture: Body impunctate, shining. Pubescence: Fuscous, 0.5 x scape length. Material examined — Holotype: Male, West Bengal, Darjeeling, 2200 m, 3.5.1983, coll. M. S. Saini. Paratypes: 10 males with same data as holotype (two males deposited in the HNHM); West Bengal, Darjeeling, 5 males, 26.5.1989, coll. M. S. Saini; 3 males, Figs. 18-20. Gonoforceps: 18.
