Remarks — Because of the similarities in the structure of male genitalia, the new species is very close to H. kasyi (H. Aspöck et U. Aspöck, 1965). When I examined some Hemisemidalis specimens from Yemen (Sziráki 1997), I determined them as H. kasyi. One specimen genitalically agreed with "H, kasyi" figured by Meinander (1979) (with distinct hypandrium in lateral view), while the others agreed with the figures of the holotype of H. kasyi (H. Aspöck et U. Aspöck, 1965) (without distinct hypandrium visible in lateral view). Then I supposed a range of varieties betveen the two forms. However, the examination of the present material showed the stability of the differences between H. kasyi sensu Meinander (1979) (= H. fulvipennis sp. n.), and the specimen figured by Aspöck and Aspöck (1965) as holotype of H. kasyi. (Most of the details of male terminalia of H. kasyi are described and figured by Aspöck and Aspöck (1965), and these are enough for the safe identification. On the other hand, the 9th abdominal segment and the (rudimentary) hypandrium hitherto was not demonstrated in ventral view. These are shown in Fig. 15 of the present paper, on the basis of the Yemenian specimens of our collection.) The distinctive features of Hemisemidalis fulvipennis sp. n. are: - distinct hypandrium visible in lateral view; - the hypandrium in ventral view rounded, but rather narrow, with a shallow median incision (Fig. 13) (while in H. kasyi the rudimentary hypandrium widely rounded without median incision (Fig. 15); - presence of a distinct ventral process of paramere; - rather long, moderately high, caudally slightly sclerotized dorsal process of paramere (Fig. 12), while in H. kasyi this organ is short, high and well sclerotized (Aspöck and Aspöck 1965: Fig 7c). Hemisemidalis spp. Material — Jammu and Kashmir, under administration of Pakistan, 20 km E of Gupis, 2000 m. a.s.l., 20.6.1992, 5 female specimens; Gupis, 2000 m. a.s.l., 20.6.1992, 3 female specimens. The examined specimens belong to two different species at least. However, in the genus Hemisemidalis the determination of females is impossible at species level. Semidalis aleyrodiformis (Stephens, 1836) Material — Pakistan, Garam Chasma, 2600 m a.s.l., 25.6.1992, 1 female specimen. This species is widely distributed in the Palaearctics, and in some territories of the Oriental Region. REFERENCES Aspöck, H. and Aspöck, U. (1965): Die Neuropteren Vorderasiens I.
