FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK LX 1999 pp. 179-186 Coniopterygidae (Neuroptera) from southwestern parts of Asia Gy. Sziráki Coniopterygidae (Neuroptera) from southwestern parts of Asia — The examined coniopterygid material, which was collected in North Pakistan and in the territories of Jammu and Kashmir, under the administration of Pakistan, consisted of seven species. Three of them (Helicoconis csorbái sp.n., Hemisemidalis hreblayi sp.n. and Hemisemidalis fulvipennis sp.n.) are described as new, while Coniopteryx (Xeroconiopteryx) latigonarcuata Meinander is reported for the first time out of Mongolia, where the type material of this species was collected. As a result of the re-examination of the Yemenian coniopterygid specimens which earlier (Sziráki 1997) were determined as Hemisemidalis kasyi (H. Aspöck et U. Aspöck) it appeared, that one of them also belongs to H. fulvipennis sp.n. The occurrence of scale-like hairs on male antennae of Helicoconis csorbái sp. n. (Aleuropteryginae) is especially worth mention in point of view of morphology of the family Coniopterygidae. INTRODUCTION On account of a zoological collecting trip in North Pakistan and in the territories of Jammu and Kashmir, under the administration of Pakistan, supported by the Hungarian Natural History Museum - among other neuropterous insects - 30 coniopterygid specimens were captured. The males of them and one (eventually also identifiable at species level) female belong to seven species, from which three are new (described below). All of this insect material was collected at light by Dr. Gábor Csorba and Dr. Márton Hreblay. Additionally, because one of the newly recognized species (Hemisemidalis fulvipennis sp.n.) seemed to be rather close to Hemisemidalis kasyi (H. Aspöck et U. Aspöck), I re-examined the Yemenian coniopterygid specimens which were determined earlier (Sziráki 1997) as//, kasyi. Apart from the holotypes of the new species, and from the above mentioned Yemenian material, the collector's name is not mentioned in the text. Regarding the male terminalia, I follow the terminology used by Meinander (1972a). In the case of the zoogeographical remarks also data of Meinander (1972a, 1990) were primarily of all considered.
