RESULTS The present paper reports on the occurrence of 32 species, belonging to 6 families. Except for Egypt all are from the European part of the Palaearctic Region. All species mentioned are new for the fauna of that country. The distribution of the species according to families is as follows: Pseudococcidae 16, Coccidae 7, Eriococcidae 4, Cerococcidae 1, Asterolecaniidae 1, Diaspididae 4. Most of the species (8-8) were collected in Bulgaria and Hungary, in other countries only 1-3. Some species (as Geococcus coffeae, Etiennia villiersi, Gascardia hodgsoni, and Vinsonia stellifera) recorded here are introduced from tropical countries and could survive only in indoor conditions in Central Europe. Most of the species were collected by the Author (17), and dr. B. Nagy (6), by others only 1-2 species. I.
