Cleptes canadensis Kimsey, 1987: 56 (9 cT), Figs I, 5. Holotype, â: Canada: Saskatchewan (Ottawa). Cleptes canadensis: Móczár, 1997a: 34 (9 S). Specimen examined: 1 9. Canada: Norman Wels, paratype, det. Kimsey (I.e.). Addition to the original diagnosis. The lateral edges of the lower clypeal margin rectangular in female, not obtuse angled as in male (Kimsey's Fig. 1). The punctures of the pronotal disc of the paratype are remarkably larger and deeper in female (Fig. 4) than in male (Kimsey's Fig. 5) and there are also some small punctures among the larger ones along the posterior margin. Cleptes rugulosus group Cleptes rugulosus Linsenmaier, 1968 Cleptes rugulosus Linsenmaier, 1968: 8. Holotype, 9: Palestine (Luzern). Cleptes rugulosus: Móczár 1997a: 41 (9 S). Specimens examined: 2 9, 1 â. Israel: Dagania am Genesarethsee, 1 9 (Budapest); Zichron-Jaakob, 14-V-1957 (Kugler), 1 9 (London); Syrian Arab Republic, 1 6 (Budapest). The recently examined and the earlier published females differ from author's description in some characters. According the original diagnosis "einige punktierte LängsRunzeln bilden eine wenig auffallende Mittel-Furche auf ganzer Länge des Pronotums". This want is female specimen (from Zichron) and in male (from Syria) and present only on the apical margin. On the other hand, it continues irregularly in the oval, longitudinal rugose striatiform punctures and reaches nearly the middle of the disc (Dagania, 9) (Fig. 6). The greenish reflection behind the ocelli is expanding. Posterior black margin of T-III and nearly entirely flame red with some golden tint (Zichron, 9), golden red with greenish tints (Dagania, 9) or "rosa kupfern" (Syria, cT). The minor differences establish only the variability of the species. Corrections The following corrections should be made to my previous publication (Móczár 1997a). Page 32. The key couplet 35 -: "Pronotum with a longitudinal furrow on posterior half medially" should be omitted, and the correct text should read "Pronotum with a punctures partly striatiform (9 (?)". Page 41. Cleptes obsoletus, first line: instead of "cT", correctly "9". Page 41. Cleptes rugulosus, sixth line from the bottom: "Mesonotum with a longitudinal furrow medially" should be omitted, and the correct text is "Posterior half of mesonotum with a slight, narrow longitudinal sulcus medially". Page 42. Cleptes scutellaris, sixth line, after Specimen examined: completed with "13 9 9, 14 cTcT". Page 44. Line Móczár 1966: instead of "143-150" the correct figures "17: 153-160, Figs 1-22".
