The opisthogastral shield is almost round, its surface is striated, solenostomes are absent. It bears four pairs of minute setae. Insemination apparatus (calyx) is crescentiform. This species belongs to the group "rhenanus" according to Chant (1959) but does not correspond with the species previously known. Male: unknown. Type locality and habitat: Holotype on Phragmites communis, Fenékpuszta (Balaton), April 23, 1993 and four paratypes on Phragmites communis, Fenékpuszta (Balaton), Fig. 1.
