RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS Genus: Amblyseius Berlese, 1914 Amblyseius finlandicus (Oudemans, 1915) - Cosmopolitan. It is the most cosmopolitan species of the family Phytoseiidae in Hungary. It lives on woody stemmed plants. It decreases the individual density of phytophagous mites significantly in orchards free from pesticides. Amblyseius andersoni (Chant, 1957) - Cosmopolitan. It lives on soft- and woody stemmed plants. * Amblyseius bellin us Womersley, 1954 - Rare. Amblyseius obtusus (Koch, 1839) - Rare. Amblyseius calunnane Willmann, 1952 - Rare. Amblyseius bicaudus Wainstein, 1962 - Rare. It lives on soft-stemmed plants. Amblyseius aurescens Athias-Henriot, 1961 - Rare. It lives on soft-stemmed plants. Amblyseius amicus Chant, 1959 - Rare. Amblyseius agrestis Karg, 1971 - Rare. Amblyseius meridionalis (Berlese, 1914) - Rare. *AmbIyseius herbarius (Wainstein, 1960) - Rare. *Amblyseius astutus Beglarov, 1960 - Cosmopolitan. It lives mainly on poplar. Amblyseius rademacheri Dosse, 1958 - Rare, but it was collected from soy in large number. Amblyseius levis (Wainstein, 1960) - Rare. Amblyseius reductus Wainstein, 1962 - Cosmopolitan. It lives on soft- and woody stemmed plants. Amblyseius britannicus Chant, 1959 - Rare. Amblyseius umbraticus Chant, 1956 - Rare. Amblyseius marginatus (Wainstein, 1961)-Rare. *Amblyseius floridanus Muma, 1955 - Rare. Amblyseius major Karg, 1971 - Rare. Genus: Kampimodromus Nesbitt, 1951 Kampimodromus aberrans (Oudemans, 1930) - Cosmopolitan. It lives on woody stemmed plants. Genus: Metaseiulus Muma, 1961 Metaseiulus (T.) longipilus (Nesbitt, 1951) - Rare. It lives on woody stemmed plants. Genus: Typhloctonus Muma, 1961 Typhloctonus (T.) tiliarum Oudemans, 1930 - Cosmopolitan. It lives on woody stemmed plants. It decreases the individual density of Eotetranychus tiliarium Garman significantly. Typhloctonus (T.) formosus Wainstein, 1958 - Rare. ^Typhloctonus (T.) squamiger (Wainstein, 1958) - Rare. It lives on woody stemmed plants.
