stigma, CU2 long: r2 nearly twice as long as cuqul, r3 1.57 times as long as r2 and reaching tip of wing. Metasoma about as long as mesosoma. First tergite (Fig. 4) 1.78 times as long as broad behind, pair of spiracles somewhat anteriorly before middle of tergite, beyond spiracles tergite parallel sided. Further tergites distinctly transverse, second tergite 3.3 times as broad behind as long laterally, suture between tergites 2-3 bisinuate. Tergites polished. Ovipositor sheath in lateral view as long as hind tibia + half basitarsus combined. Ground colour of body black. Palpi yellow. Tegula black. Sternites brownish yellow. Legs brownish black to black, fore femur distally and fore tibia entirely, femora 2-3 apically and tibiae 2-3 basally yellow. Tarsi brownish fumous. Wings brownish fumous, pterostigma and veins opaque light brownish. Description of the female (8 9 9)- Similar to the holotype female. Body 2.8-3.2 mm, usually 3 mm long. Head in dorsal view 1.75-1.85 times as broad as long. Antenna about as long as body or somewhat shorter and with 24-25 antennomeres. Second flagellomere 1.7 times and penultimate flagellomere 1.6 times as long as broad. Hind femur 4.2-4.3 times as long as broad. Vein r2 nearly twice to twice as long as cuqul, r3 1.5-1.6 times as long as r2. First tergite 1.75-1.8 times as long as broad behind. Ovipositor sheath at most as long as hind tibia + tarsomeres 1-2. Posterior end of ovipositor as in Fig. 5. Description of the male (3 6 cT) - Similar to the female. Body 2-2.5 mm long. Head in dorsal view 1.8-1.85 times as broad as long. Antenna as long as body and with 23-25 antennomeres. Hind femur 4.2-4.4 times as long as broad. Vein r2 1.6 times as long as cuqul and r3 1.8 times as long as r2 (1 S). First tergite beyond pair of spiracles with feebly converging sides (Fig. 6). Hosts - Hymenoptera, Tenthredinidae (Selandriinae): Hoplocampa minuta (Christ) (= H. fulvicornis Fabricius). - Coleoptera, Bruchidae: Bruchidius villosus Fabricius, Bruchus pubescens Germar, B. spartii Erichson. Apionidae: Apion genistae Kirby, Exapion difficile Herbst. Curculionidae: Oxy stoma craccae Linnaeus. - Remark: The bruchid, apionid and curculionid hosts are in need of confirmation. Distribution: England, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Italy and Yugoslavia (Shenefelt 1978: 1563).
