In the braconid collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum I did not find specimens identified by Szépligeti under this name. Eubazus opacus (Reinhard, 1867) - Győrfy (1959a: 62) reported it (one or more specimens?) under the name Calyptus opacus from Hungary (locality Fehér-tó) bred from the curculionid beetle-larva Magdalis violacea L. The voucher specimen(s) is (are) not deposited in the Budapest Museum.
