VIL 1995 Female genitalia (Fig. 6): Papillae anales wide, apically tapering, gonapophyses long. Anthrum membranous, spacious, sterigma with a characteristic shape (see Fig. 6). Duc­tus bursae calyculate (reversed bell-like), membranous, ductus seminalis very long, ter­minal part inflated, globular, with a sclerotized, kidney-shaped plate. Corpus bursae pyriform, dorsal surface with longitudinal, fine wrinkles; with an elongated, sclerotized signum centrally. The Transylvanian Mezőség lies in the central part of Transylvania, Romania forming a well defined biogeographical unit. Several Ponto-Mediterranean, Balcanic and Asian species reach their western, north-western edges of their distribution here, in island-like remnants of the forest-steppe belt. Both collecting localities are steppe habitats (Stipetum lessingianae) on S, SW facing steep, dry slopes 350-400 m a.s.l.
