Population variation — In one specimen, the right hind wing is without closed mid­dle cell. Distribution — Pakistan; India; Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, West Bengal. Remarks — The collected specimens resemble fully with the type borrowed from USNM, Washington, excepting a specimen collected from Dhanoulti on 19. VI. 1992, where a closed middle cell in the hind wing is missing. This species is widely distributed in the Himalayan ranges starting from Murree (now in Pakistan) to Shillong (Eastern India) between altitude 1450 m to 2800 m above mean sea level.
