S. Mahunka szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 56. (Budapest, 1995)

Fig. I . Hungarian localities of Obrium bicolor Kraatz, 1862 RESULTS 88 species have been found as a result of the examination - Szigetköz 82, Mosonisíkság 20, Észak-Hanság 25 - of which 20 (7, 8, 14, 18, 19, 27, 30, 34, 37, 40, 41, 53, 62, 63, 65, 66, 68, 71, 79, 85) are new compared to the data of former literature. So far altogether 103 species are known from the territory. 51 species are succesfully bred from 30 host plants (see table). With its 41 species Derék-erdő appears to be the best biotope. The presence of mountaineous cerambycids (Tetropium fuscum, Rhagium mordax, Anoplodera sexguttata, Brachyleptura maculicornis, Corymbia rubra, Anastrangalia sanguinolenta, Obrium brunneum) is imputable to the nearness of Little Carpathians, and the humidity of Szigetköz and North Hanság. The occurrence of some rare species deserves attention: Tetropium fuscum, Rhamnusium bicolor, Brachyleptura maculicornis, Obrium bicolor (Fig. 1 ), Obrium cantharinum, Obrium brunneum, Nathrius brevipennis, Calamobius filum, Menesia bipunctata. * * * Acknowledgement - I am very grateful to E. Werner for his help in making me better acquainted with the territory. Thanks are due to Gy. Dévai for making the UTM-grid maps available.
