S. Mahunka szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 56. (Budapest, 1995)

Holotype female: Denmark, North East Zealand, Geelskov 14. V. 1897 (R. W. Schlick leg.), deposited in the collection of the Zoological Museum in Copenhagen. Unique. Rather similar to P. planus Buhl in a number of aspects but differs from this species e.g. in having thinner basal antennái segments and a less flattened thorax, cf. description oïplanus in Buhl (1994). Platygaster schlicki sp. n. (Figs 13-16) Female. Head from above (Fig. 13) twice as broad as long; vertex smooth between ocelli, laterally with some rugosity; occiput faintly transversely reticulate. Head from in front almost 1.25 times as broad as high; frons smooth, faintly transversely striated in lower half, with a longitudinal depression from anterior ocellus to the triangular depres­sion above antennái sockets. Malar space hardly half the length of an eye; temples slight­ly longer than an eye: OOL:POL:LOL = 2:7:4. Head bare except for some sparse and very short hairs along inner orbits and on temples and a few long hairs around mouth­parts.
