Data to the Macrolepidoptera fauna of Transylvania (Romania). I. Faunistical data L. Peregovits Data to the Macrolepidoptera fauna of Transylvania (Romania). I. Faunistical data - New faunistical data of 570 Macrolepidoptera species are given. In the last two decades there were several Hungarian lepidopterists collecting Lepidoptera material in Transylvania (Romania). The overwhelming majority of the material treated here was collected by the author in Transylvania in the last two decades. Hereto the yet unpublished Transylvanian data of the Lepidoptera Collection of the Department of Zoology of the Hungarian Natural History Museum (HNHM) from this area were also gathered. All the specimens are deposited in the HNHM, Budapest. Many times S. and Z. Kovács of Sepsiszentgyörgy (Sfintu Gheorghe, Covasna, Romania), well-known Transylvanian lepidopterists, were also company during the collecting trips. Their help is kindly acknowledged also herewith. Altogether 570 species from 87 localities are listed hereunder. The zoogeographical interpretation will be published in a separate article.
