APOIDEA The bees or apoids are the second in the line which, following the sphecoid wasps, have been trapped in a high species as well as specimen numbers, 22 and 52, respective­ly. From among the twenty-two species nineteen (86.3%) were captured in a low quan­tity, i.e. in 1 to 3 specimens, and the rest, i.e. three species, were taken in a quantity suit­able for analysis. By the way, it is somewhat surprising that bumble-bees fell into the traps in a conspicuously low species and individual numbers, 2 and 4, respectively (see Table 8, too). Both species, namely Bombus pascuorum (2 + 1 $ ) and Bombus terres­tris (1 ? ) are arboricolous elements regarding their nesting place and food-plants. Contrarily to the sphecoid wasps the phenology of the bees was less pulsating (Fig. 4). Their activity extends from the third decade of April to the third decade of September Table 8.
