cated while he apparently mind the vertex. When coronal suture is infuscated it is always darkened on its whole length, starting from the base. These details are explained because A. dolkhensis is poorly illustrated in the original description and it can not be excluded that the type series contains also other species (e.g. Thapa's Fig. 2 [3]). Alebroides fuscus Dwor. 3 M, 3 F, Sikkim, Rumtek, 1700 m, lamp domes, 1990; 3 M, 11 F, Phodong, 1750 m, Artemisia, 7. III. 1991; 1 M, Labrang, forest, 1800-2000 m, 8. III. 1991; 1 F, Geizing, 1550 m, Artemisia, 11. III. 1991.1. Dworakowska. Alebroides gallus sp.n. (Figs 24-34) Type material. - Holotype male: Sikkim, Rumtek, 1700 m, lamp domes, 1990, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD). - Paratype, specimen without abdomen, same data as the holotype (in SMTD). Colouration distinctive. Background of upper side of body ivory. Two black, irregularly quadrangular patches in front of vertex followed caudad by broad brown streak that continues in the midline of pronotum widening to the width of the outer margins of basal triangles, occupies whole scutellum (Fig. 26) and passes on the fore wing along its commissural margin. The streak occupies 1/3 of width of clavus at inner margin and widens caudad (Fig. 31). It is lighter in apical 1/3 of cua and in its anterior part declines from CuA. Apical cells 1st, 2nd and parts of the 3rd of the same colour as infuscation in cua. Face ochre centrally, whitish laterad. Length M 3.9, specimen without abdomen 4.2 mm. Penis stem tubular, asymmetrical, accompanied by lamellate biramose asymmetrical single appendage arising from the dorsal side of atrial rim (Figs 24, 25). Anal tube appendage long narrow, curved cephalad in its apical 1/3 (Figs 27, 28, 32). Ventral pygofer appendage long, almost horizontal, tapering and slightly sinuate at apex, its surface adorned subterminally with minute teeth sculpture (Figs 33, 34). Connective elongated (Fig. 30). Comparison. Both, external characters of the new species and its male genital apparatus are unique. They allow easy identification but do not suggest close affinity to any species already known.
