S. Mahunka szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 55. (Budapest, 1994)
The species is common in Southern, Central and Western Europe. In Hungary it was collected from shoots at Keszthely, around Szigliget and at the boundary of Pécs and Pestlőrinc. It was reared from L. pullitarsis galls. TORYMIDAE Torymus arundinis (Walker, 1833) It was reared from Cecidomyiidae living in the reed stem (Skuhravá and Skuhravy 1981). It is mentioned from Lipara galls by Fulmek (1968). Distribution: It is common in the whole of Europe. Rearing results: In the course of our observations in Hungary, it reared from L. lucens, L. pullitarsis, L. similis. Probably it developed in the larvae of the Cecidomyiids living in the stem below the gall. Rearing data: L. lucens: 3:1,4:1,7:1; L pullitarsis: 10:1 ; L. similis: 4:1. PLATYGASTRIDAE Prosactogaster erdoesi Szelényi, 1958 The description of the species was given on the basis of specimens collected from reed stands in Hungary. Adults develop in the larvae of Lasioptera hungarica (Cecidomyiidae), which is often found in the internodia below the gall (Skuhravá and Skuhravy 1981). Specimens of the present work supposedly originate from the short reed stems left below the L. lucens, L. pullitarsis and L. similis galls. Rearing data: L. lucens: 3:1, 6:2, 12:1 ; L. pullitarsis: 3:1; L. similis: 10:1, 11:4. Platy gaster sp. A series of Platygaster species developing in the reed stem has been described in the literature (Szelényi 1985, Skuhravá and Skuhravy 1981). We can assume, that the speciemens reared from the pots of Lipara lucens and L. similis galls, identified on generic level, are in fact the parasitoids of Cecidomyiidae living in the internodium below the gall. Rearing data: L. lucens: 3:1, 4:1; L. similis: 1:1, 11:1. ICHNEUMONIDAE indet. Specimens were reared from L. lucens and L. similis galls. Most likely they develop in a parasitoid species of Hymenoptera. We have not yet had the possibility to have them identified. Rearing data: L. lucens: 20:4; L. similis: 18:1. Inquilines (Hymenoptera) developing in two-year-old L. lucens galls. Folia ent. hung. 55, 1994
