(Figs 1-9) Holotype male. - Length of body 14.5 mm, of fore wing 11.0 mm. Head 1.3 times as wide as high (Fig. 1); eye globular, a bit higher than wide; width of front equal to height of eye; antenno-ocular distance 0.55 times transverse diameter of median ocellus, rugosely punctuate; ocello-ocular line 0.88 times transverse diameter of lateral ocellus; clypeal disc punctuate and densely pilose; supraclypeal triangle weakly coriaceous; antennái tubercles smooth, close at their base; front with scattered punctures; vertex with dense setigerous punctures, present also beyond the ocellar triangle; man­dible tridentate, inner teeth small and frequently worn off; third segment of maxillary palpus a bit longer than fourth; scape, on inner aspect, 1.1 times wider than long (Fig. 7); pedicellus thrice as wide as long; first flagellar segment 4.6 times longer than thick, bare; the following segments gradually becoming shorter and thinner. Thorax 1.5 times longer than wide; mesoscutum slightly convex anteriorly, flat dor­sally, parapsidal furrows and notaulices complete, punctures numerous, interspace as wide as the punctures themselves; scutellum steeply declivous from base to apex, more densely punctuate than mesoscutum, save a smooth median stripe; scutellar furrow short, axillae half as wide as length of the furrow; metanotum rugose; lateral pronotum costate; mesopleuron rugosely punctuate, lower third smooth; metapleuron with longitudinal rid­ges (Fig. 6); dorsal disc of propodeum half as long as declivity, rugose-reticulate. Legs densely pubescent, especially the inner aspect of hind tibia and hind basitarsus; trochanter of middle leg with a conical tubercle on ventral aspect (Fig. 5), the trochanter as wide apically as long ventrally; trochanter of hind leg without tubercle; inner spur of middle tibia as long as basitarsus. Fore wing with first discoidal cell slightly longer than wide; hind wing iridescent on the margins. Abdomen with first tergum pyriform, 1.5 times longer than wide, abruptly decli­vous, anterior face perpendicular to the dorsal disc (Fig. 2), surface rugose-reticulate; second tergum long oval, 1.2 times wider than long (Fig. 3), surface covered with shal­low, oval punctures with sharp contours, interspace acute, mere septa, devoid of longi­tudinal costae; third tergum covered with small oval punctures, which are evanescent in
