with rounded lateral incision. Notogastral setae - excepting the setae in posteromarginal position - long, directed outwards. Setae C2 longest of all. The ventral side was not observable. All legs tridactylous. Cerachipteria minuscula (Berlese, 1902) comb. n. Oribates minusculus Berlese, 1902: 698. Achipteria minuscula Berlese 1913: 74. Achpteria (Achipterina) minuscula Berlese 1916: 58. There is a long series of slides and also some vials present in the collection under this name. But only one slide (76/9) was labelled "tipico". In accepting Berlese' s opinion I designate it as the lectotype. The type specimen is damaged, but observable. The other slides contain also a Cerachipteria species, but I am not sure that they are conspecific with the type species. If the main characters (e.g. distance of lamellae, form of the lamellar cusps) are constant, then the other specimens belong rather to C. digita Grandjean, 1935, than to this species. Complementary morphological characters. Rostral apex sharply pointed, rostrum with minute teeth (Fig. 51). Lamellae narrow, a short, and interrupted translamella also observable. Lamellar cusp characteristically long, its inner margin straight. Lamellar setae long, nearly one third as long as interlamellar setae. This latter one does not reach over the lamellar cusp. Tutorium well developed, its distal end with some teeth. Sensillus with a long peduncle, its head clavate (Fig. 50) and spiculate. Measurements. Length of body: 483 urn, width of body: 312 (im. One of the other (?) specimens (slide 61/5) was also figured. The form of the lamellae and the ratio of the prodorsal setae are shown in Fig. 52, they are quite similar on all the other specimen. Parachipteria nicoleti (Berlese, 1883) Oribates nicoletii Berlese, 1883: 3, 3 (sic!) Oribates (Achipteria) nicoleti Berlese 1885: 127. Achipteria nicoleti Berlese 1908: 6. Achipteria nicoleti Castagnoli & Pegazzano 1985: 273. Parachipteria willmanni van der Hammen, 1959: 109, figs 10: b, g, h, 11 : b, f. syn. n. There are 4 slides in the collection. One (27/30) of which - seemingly the oldest one - contains 3 specimens. All three belong to a Parachipteria species which - in my opinion - are conspecific with the Parachipteria willmanni van der Hammen, 1959. For lectotype I designate the specimen embedded in ventrodorsal position as shown in Figs 5357. Among the other slides, 27/45 also contains this species and a specimen of an Achipteria species. The other two slides contain specimens belonging to different Achipteria species. Therefore, they do not belong to the type series. There are some vials under this name in the collection, but I was not able to study them. The morphological characters of the type series are well identifiable with the description and figures of van der Hammen (1952).
