Figs 34-35. Oripoda australis Berlese, 1916: - 34: body in dorsal aspect, 35: body in ventral aspect Complementary morphological characters. Rostrum rounded, without incision. Lamellae well developed. Rostral and lamellar setae simple, interlamellar one well pilose. Lamellar setae not reaching beyond rostrum. Sensillus clavate, partly uncovered in dorsoventral aspect (Fig. 34). Ten pairs of simple, thin notogastral setae. Some of the epimeral setae (Fig. 35) long and thin. All 3 pairs of adanal setae conspicuously long, flagellate, setae am also flagellate. Remarks. The South American Oripoda species were surveyed by Balogh and Balogh 1990. It seems to me that on the basis of the measurement of the body, the long and flagellate anal and adanal setae, none of these species are identifiable with the Berlese' s species. Zygoribatula undulata (Berlese, 1916) Oribatula (Zygoribatula) undulata Berlese, 1916: 319. Oribatida (Zygoribatula) undulata Castagnoli & Pegazzano 1985: 428. Zygoribatula undulata Pérez-Inigo 1974: 371, fig. 5.
