brownish-black only ventrad. On anteocular area dark brown or blackish patch below the whitish patch at the border with vertex. Dark pattern on upper side of thorax less contrastic than in male, background light ochre, scutum and scutellum sometimes reddish. Hind margin of sternite 7 in female broadly, shallowly emarginated in the midline. Fore wing in both sexes sordid beige, with grey-brownish pattern (oblique dashes in Fig. 582). Two blackish patches at both ends of ochre wax-field. Length M 3.1-3.3, F 3.0-3.2 mm. Comparison. Male genitalia similar to those of A. (D.) ela Dwor. but differing the new species by the shape of ventral sclerotized lamella and absence of lateral and dorsal serration at penis stem (Figs 580, 581). Pygofer process (Fig. 586) differently shaped in the new species and apex of paramere more solid (Figs 583, 584). External characters also allow to distinguish A (D.) azra from A. (D.) ela. Agnesiella (Draberiella) bupa sp. n. (Figs 590-599) Type material. - Holotype male: India, W Bengal, Algarah, 15 km NE of Kalimpong, 27. X. 1981, C.A. Viraktamath (in UAS). - Paratypes: 9 M, 3 F, Sikkim, Gangtok, N H-wy, 1800 m, 3. Ill; 1 M, Rumtek, 1800 m, 6. III; 1 F, Phodong, 1750 m, 7. III; 1 M, 2 F, Labrang, forest, 1800-2000 m, 8. III; 1 M, Pelling, 1850 m, 12. III; 1 M, 3 F, Geizing, 1700 m, 12. III. 1991, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD, NMNH and HNHM). All specimens from Sikkim collected on Alnus nepalensis. Head and upper side of thorax yellow. Face of male pale. Face of female sordid brownish with blackish patches below bases of antennae and dark brown sides of anteclypeus; outer and lower parts of genae light. Dark patches on vertex and pronotum as in Fig. 592, blackish; basal triangles brown, at least mesad and anteriorly. Fore wing yellowish, with indistinct brownish fasciae (Fig. 598) and blackish patches at both sides of ochre-yellow wax-field. In the fore wing characteristic is transverse or slightly arcuate fascia between apex of clavus and R and a small whitish patch on clavus subapically. In dark specimens the fascia often confluent with infuscation on clavus and cua and m cells. Inner margin of clavus always dark. Hind margin of sternite 7 of female narrowly, deeply incised in the midline. Length M 3.25-3.50, F 3.35-3.60 mm. Comparison. Male genitalia resemble those of A. (D.) quinquemaculata (Distant) the most, differing mainly by large lamella on ventral side of penis stem (Fig. 593), shorter and curved terminal appendage of pygofer (Figs 596, 597) and by reduced in size apical part of paramere (Figs 590, 591 ). Agnesiella (Draberiella) farida sp. n. (Figs 600-611) Type material. - Holotype male: Nepal, Ghara, Alnus nepalensis, 8. XL 1981, I. Dworakowska (in BMNH). - Paratypes: 1 M, 2 F, Sikkim, Phodong, 1750 m, Alnus nepalensis, 7. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska (in SMTD). Male. Vertex, anterior part of pronotum and centre of scutellum light beige to ivory. Blackish patches and brown or brownish ones as in Fig. 604; hind margin of pronotum milky grey.
