Ill, and the posterior of Abd. IV with black patterns. A distal parts of Ant. I-III and Ant IV dark (Fig. 2C). Legs, ventral tube and furca pale. Eyes 8+8, black, G and H very small. Labral setae: 4, 5, 5, 4, prelabral ones feathered. Labral margin with 4 papillae (Fig. 2D). Labral basis with setae as MREL1L2. Thoracic tergites with numorous clavate collar setae forming a mane, general chaetotaxy as in Fig. 2A. Unguis with one or two inner teeth, less developed than in other species. Unguiculus lanceolate and untoothed. A clavate tennent hair somewhat weakly developed (Fig. 2F). Trochanteral organ also weakly developed, composed of ca. 7 stiff setae. Anterior face of ventral tube with 2+2 macrosetae (Fig. 2E). Tenaculum quadridentate, with one seta. Furcal segments ratio, Manubrium: Dens+Mucro= 10:12. Mucro bideritate and with a basal spine. Type data: Holotype $, Pyongyang, Pyongyang City, Collection no. 534, from soil and moss sample extraced with Berlese-funnels, 15 Sept. 1979, Steinmann and Vásárhelyi. Paratype: 1, same data as holotype. 6 specimen were collected. Additional materials examined: 1, Mt. Za-mo san, Bek-sung-li (60 km NE from Pyongyang), Pyong-sung City, Pyongan-nam-do Prov., Collection no. 307, from moss sample extraced with Berlese apparatus, 1 Aug. 1975, Papp and Vojnits; 1, Mt. Daesung-san, Pyongyang City, Collection no. 628, from moss sample extracted with Berlese-funnels, 10 Sept. 1980, Forró and Topái; 6, Mt. Myohyang-san, Chagang-do Prov., Collection no 656, from moss sample extracted with Berlese-funnels, 13 Sept. 1980, Forró and Topái; 2, Mt. Daesung-san, Pyongyang, Pyongyang City, Collection no. 752, in soil sample from a Pinus forest, 8 July 1982, Forró and Ronkay, 4, Mt Myohyang-san, Pyongan-bug-do Prov., Collection nos. 782 and 819, in shifted Utter taken from a complex arboreal forest, extracted with Moczarsky-Winkler apparatus, 13 and 17 July 1982, Forró and Ronkay; 2, same locality as former, collection nos. 830 and 831, in moss sample from rocks, extracted with Berlese-funnels, 19 July 1982, Forró and Ronkay. Remarks: This species strongly resembles Entomobrya aibocincta (Templeton, 1835) from the Atlantic climate regions by sharing the peculiar body pattern of the anterior margin of Th. II, whole dorsal and lateral part of Th. Ill up to Abd. Ill, and posterior half of Abd. IV. However, the body length of this species is much shorter than the cited one and the ratio of antennái segments is different. Moreover, detailed examination of body pattern reveals some differences, especially in the patches of Abd. VI.
