Tomocerus (s. str) varias Folsom, 1899 Tomocerus varius Folsom, 1899: p. 264, PI. 3, Figs. 31, 32; Denis 1929: p. 169: Kinoshita 1932: p. 2123: Uchida 1938: p. 8; Kinoshita and Uchida 1950: p. 18; Uchida 1958: p. 17; Martynova 1969: p. 310, Fig. 12; Dunger 1972: p. 17. Tomocerus (Tomocerina) varius: Yosii 1967: p. 16, Fig. 7; Yosii 1969: p. 554. Tomocerus (s. str.) varius: Lee 1983: p. 8, Fig. 14. The major characters of the present material are the same as those described by Yosii (1967, 1969) from Japan. It differs from T. liliputanus in the arrangement of its dental spines. This species is a new record for North Korea. Material examined: 4, Mt. Kumgang-san, Kangwon-do Prov., Collection no. 699, from moss sample collected along the foot-path to Kuryong-Falls, 7-800 m. a. s. 1., extracted with Berlese-funnels, 18 Sept. 1980, Forró and Topái. Distribution: USSR, Japan, Korea (South and North Koreas). Tomocerus (s. str.) kinoshitai kinoshitai Yosii, 1954 Tomocerus kinoshitai Yosü, 1954: p. 814, Fig. 29; Yosii 1956: p. 90; Yosii 1967: p. 20-22, Fig. 10; Martynova 1969: p. 307, Fig. 7; Lee 1974: p. 412, Fig 4; Lee 1975: p. 951; Lee 1983: p. 5, Fig. 6. The present material almost conforms to the description by Yosii (1954, 1967) based on his specimens from Japan. The number of dental spines, hower, is 3-5/13,11, the range of variations is rather large as compared to that in the original description. In addition, the antenna is shorter than furcula. This species is a new record for North Korea. Materials examined: 5, Mt. Daesung-san, Pyongyang City, Collection no. 523, from sou, moss and fern litter sample extracted with Berlese-funnels, 11 Sept. 1979, Steinmann and Vásárhelyi; 5, Mt. Myohyang-san, Pyongan-bug-do Prov., Collection nos. 782, 791 and 819, in sifted litter taken from a mixed arboreal forest extracted with Moczarsky-Winkler apparatus, 13-14 and 17 July 1982, Forró and Ronkay. Distribution: Japan, USSR, Korea (South and North Koreas). Tomocerus (s. str.) spinistriatus Lee, 1975 (Fig. 4E) Tomocerus (s. str.) spinistriatus Lee, 1975: p. 958, Fig. 7; Lee 1983: p. 6, Fig. 8. This species almost agrees well with the original description by Lee (1975), but the following notes are to be added: labral margin with 4 recurving spinules. Rami tenaculi quadridentate, corpus with 4-7 setae. The number and shape of dental spines and the number of the intermittent teeth of mucro also vary. Dental formula is 5- 7, 1/5-7, I (instead of 5-6, 1/6-7, I), and the last spine with one spinule on the basal part of the specimens from Mt. Myohyang-san, Chagang-do Prov. (Collection nos. 651, 657 (Fig. 4E). Mucro with 4-7 intermittent teeth (in original description: 6- 7). This species is a new record for North Korea. Materials examined: 9, Mt. Myohyang-san, Chagang-do Prov., Collection nos. 651 and 657, from sample of moss growing on a large stone, extracted with Berlese-funnels, 12-13 Sept. 1980, Forró and Topái; 3, Mt. Kumgang-san, Kangwon-do
