Five Trichoptera species new to the Hungarian fauna By S. U. Nógrádi (Received: January 31, 1991) Five Trichoptera species /lew to tfie Hungarian fauna. - Five species proved to be new for the Hungarian fauna: Plectrocnemia minima Map., Ecclisopteryx dalecarlica Kol., Litnnephilus subcentralis Brauer, Annitellu obscurata McL. and Paroecetis stmcki Kiap. Two were found in two Hungarian collections, three species were collected during the past years. In the past years some large collections (Hungarian Natural History Museum - Budapest, Mátra Museum - Gyöngyös, Kossuth University - Debrecen and Ujhelyi's have been revised and redetermined (Nógrádi 1989a, 1989b, 1989c). Our field activity was also continued, mostly in the Northern Mountains, West and South Transdanubia and on the eastern part of the Great Hungarian Plain. During this time more than 50 thousand caddisfly specimens were elaborated since the latest paper dealing with new species of the Hungarian fauna (Nógrádi, 1988). These revisions and the field activity enlarged our faunistic knowledge of the Hungarian Trichoptera. Beside these results five species were found to be new for the Hungarian fauna. Until recent days 198 Trichoptera species are known from our country. Plectrocnemia minima Klapalek, 1899. - Óbánya, Mecsek Mountains, May 28, 1986 1 o* (hg nt lra P)i g cn- P re P- No. 1382. In the collection of the Janus Pannonius Museum, Pécs. Figs. 1-4. It is a very rare southeastern species described from the Southern Carpathians. Only very few specimens have been collected since its description (Botosaneau 1967). In the eighties it was collected in Bulgaria, too (Pirin Mountains, Banderitza House, 1600 m, Aug. 6, 1985 1 o\ leg. Á Uherkovich). Then Kumanski (1988) published a datum in the supplemenlum of his faunistical work. It probably lives in small streams or springs. The known biotopes are highly different from each other.
