FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK LI 1990 p. 97-106 Contributions to the Braconid fauna of Hungary, IX. Meteorinae and Blacinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) By J. PAPP (Received December 8, 1989) ABSTRACT: Sixty-one braconid species of the subfamilies Meteorinae and Blacinae are recorded from Hungary and the adjacent countries within the Carpathian Basin. Eight meteorine and five blacine species are new to the fauna of Hungary. In the first (I .) and fourth (IV .) parts of my contribution (Papp 1979, 1983a) I gave an enumeration of the collectors' name gathering the braconid wasps serving for the elaboration of the braconid fauna of Hungary. Subsequently, I complete the checklist of the names: K. Kertész, J. Újhelyi, J. Thalhammer and L. Varjas. METEORINAE The subfamily is represented in Hungary by two genera: M eteorus Haliday and Zele Curtis with 26 and 3 species, respectively; i.e. a total of 29 meteorine species are recorded. The following 8 species are new to the fauna of Hungary: Meteorus affinis (Wesmael) , M . brevicauda Thomson, M . eadyi Huddleston, M. jacülat'or (Haliday) , M. pallipes (Wesmael), ~ M. sulcatus Szepligeti, M . unicolőr (Wesmael)and M. vexator (Haliday) .
