Type species: Euphthiracarus (Brasilotritia) brasiliensls Märkel, 1964. Type deposited: RNH . 2i^2íÍ2§iSi Tne main features are completely identical with those given in the diagnosis under the nominate subgenus . However , in the subgenus Brasilo tritia the notogaster is smooth and setae a-, are very small and smooth (foveolated notogaster and erect and pilose a^ setae in the nominate subgenus).
