S. Mahunka szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 51. (Budapest, 1990)
Diagnosis: Aspis low, elongated. Median crista absent, 1-2 lateral carinae present. Bothridial squama situated above trichobothrium. Posterior median apodeme absent, laterocentral apodeme short, sinus line absent. Rostral and interlamellar setae in normal, lamellar setae in lateral position. Notogaster with terminal sinus. Genito-aggenital suture absent, genital and aggenital plates completely fused. A very long, oblique anogenital cleft present. A welldeveloped internal apodeme observable. Genital setae before the kag tectum too. Palp 5-segmented, its setal formula: 0- (2-3)-0- (2-3)-9+l . Tridactylous legs, with neotrichy on tarsi I and II. Famulus associated with <^2- Solenidium on tarsus II with coupled setae. Solenidium on genu IV exists, seta d_ on tibia IV reduced and coupled with solenidium . Trochanters III and IV with 3 setae each. Elementarï_chaetotaxy: A: 4, N: 14, Ly: 5, G: 8-11, Ag: 2-5, An: 0-2, Ad: 3 Remarks^ The most varying genus of this family, its homogenity is questionable. As I have mentioned (Mahunka 1988) the subgenus Macarotritia PérezInigo, 1986 does not belong to the genus Indotritia , since all of its features are identical with the main features of Austrotritia , therefore Macarotritia Pérez-lîiigo, 1986 is a junios synonym of Austrotritia Sellnick, 1959 . Berndotritia Mahunka, 1987 Berndotritia Mahunka, 1987: 781. Philotritia Mahunka, 1988: 1098*. Syn.n. Type species: Berndotritia bulbifer Mahunka, 1987. Type deposited: MHNG. 2iä2ü2SiSi Aspis low. Median crista weak, short or absent, two or three lateral carinae present. Bothridial squama situated above the bothridium. Aspis without posterior median apodeme , laterocentral apodeme long . Sinus line absent. Among the prodorsal setae ro and in in normal, le in lateral position. Notogaster with terminal sinus. Genito-aggenital and ano-adanal suture present, a short anogenital cleft also observable. Genital plates with a long, free extension, bearing 4 setae. Lyrifissures iad open nearer to ad 2 than to ad^ . Palp 4-segmented, its setal formula: 0-2-2-9+1. Tridactylous legs, with neotrichy on tarsi I an II. Famulus ( ^ ) associated with 2 . Solenidium on tarsus II coupled with • f setae. Solenidium on genu IV exists, seta d on tibia IV short and coupled witK solenidium <f . Seta u' on leg IV thick, spiniform. Elementar y.chaetotaxy^ A: 4, N: 14, Ly: 3 ? G : 8, Ag: 2, An: 1, Ad: 3. Remarks^ Qn the basis of the legs, chaetotaxy this genus clearly belongs to the relationship of Austrotritia Sellnick, 1959. The MS, in which the genus Philotritia was described", since 1982, has been published. The author believes, that it will not be published in the near future. Type species: Tritia krakatauensis Sellnick, 1924. Type deposited: probably lost. Diagnosis^ Median crista absent, 2 piairs of lateral carinae present.Bothridial squama situated above the bothridium. Lamellar setae arising posteriorly, rostral setae in normal position. Posterior median apodeme absent, laterocentral apodeme long, sinus line absent. Notogaster with a terminal sinus. Genitoaggenital suture incomplete, these plates are fused anteriorly. Internal transversal apodeme present. Ano-genital cleft present, but mostly short.
